The Story behind The Name
Our name is derived from two ideals as we believe great design is driven by great values. The first is Donato Bramante an Italian architect who championed the use of the golden ratio and great design.
Donato Bramante is shown here on his commemorative 5 Euro coin marking 500 years since his death with his famous design for the Tempietto San Pietro in Montorio built-in 1502 which led to the commission for the rebuilding of St. Pauls Basilica in 1503.
The second is the year 1928 which represents the Olympics and its values of Excellence, Respect and Friendship which underpin everything we do. Along with the four Paralympic values - Determination, Inspiration, Courage and Equality these values underpin both the Games as a set of universal principles, but also underpin our current business and as importantly set the tone, behaviours and our direction for our future aspirations as a Brand.
